With over 15 years of field experience managing large-scale hardscaping projects and residential construction, Marcus noticed a critical gap: DIYers and contractors were constantly over-ordering or under-ordering materials due to inaccurate volume-to-weight conversions.

Marcus holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and maintains his Professional Engineer (PE) license. Before focusing entirely on digital tools, he spent a decade running a successful hardscaping firm in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in retaining walls, paver patios, and large-scale grading.
